I have been crucified with Christ [that is, in Him I have shared His crucifixion]; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body I live by faith [by adhering to, relying on, and completely trusting] in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Galatians 3:20 Amplified Bible

Your story is connected to God’s big story of redemption.

When you identify yourself with Christ in His death, you no longer live for yourself. Instead, your security and significance comes from Christ and His amazing love for you. Learn to live by faith in Christ's finished work and He will sustain you through His grace. You will experience His power and strength to live each day in such a way that your life honours Him.

The Apostle Paul tells us the crucified life is not something we need to achieve. It is already a living reality because of our inseparable union with our risen Lord. Sin no longer has mastery or authority over us because we are made overcomers through the blood which Christ shed for us. Victory is ours—regardless of good days or bad days because God is our rest and refuge.

If you learn to submit every chapter of your life into God’s hands, He can and will use them for His glory. Nothing is wasted in His hands. He has the power to will and work out everything for your good. Even if you think your life is a bad script, God can write a beautiful story. The question is, are you willing to trust Him explicitly on everything.

The benefits and blessings of the crucified life empower us to live a life wholly consecrated to God. It is our response of love to the pure and perfect love of God, recognising our love does not operate on its own but through our connection with the creative power of His love. Because we all experience love together in His love, it is possible for us to live and work together through His love, in whatever circumstances and in whatever challenges of love.

Often we have forgotten our own stories of encountering the One who loves us first and sends us out to love others. Yours is a unique story and someone is waiting for you to tell it so that they can be set free to live a new life.
