The Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

John 14:17 (NKJV)

The Trinity reveals to us that God is relational and loving, and that anyone can have a close and personal relationship with Him. We cannot come on our own terms. Rather, we must believe that God has already made us acceptable in His beloved Son and has given us the Holy Spirit as a seal of our redemption and as the guarantee of our inheritance.

All Three Persons of the Trinity are working together to deepen our understanding and experience of the Christian life. As we worship and glorify God the Father, the Holy Spirit transforms us into the image of His Son. In other words, the Trinity works together to make us more like itself, enabling us to participate more fully in its ministry of reconciliation and redemption.

We cannot be God, but we can like God by imitating the love of the Trinity.

Our oneness and union with the Godhead in the eternal circle dance of love enables us to express the reality of divine love through our fellowship with one another and mission to the world. Since we have all the love of the Trinity itself within us, we can rest in God to sustain and nourish us as we join Him in His work.

God lives in and through us. As such, our Christian life is something we do with God and not something we do for God. When our faith, free will and obedience are completely bound together to God, we will live a flourishing life filled with fruitfulness, abundance, and fullness.
