To the churches of Galatia: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ, who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

Galatians 1:2-5 (ESV)

The Apostle Paul captures the essence of the gospel, which is God's desire for Jesus to save us from our sins by liberating us from an evil and oppressive belief system that binds us to sin and Satan.

Christ's complete and perfect work on the cross is God's work of reconciling us with Himself. In Christ, we are no longer slaves, but sons and daughters of our heavenly Father. God's acceptance enables us to live a life that is pleasing and approving to Him. We will constantly experience a supernatural sense of grace and peace from our Father through His Son. This frees us from unhealthy introspection and morbid self-examination.

Worship is liberating and effortless when one truly believes in Jesus Christ's gospel.

Right believing causes us to stop attempting to bring God's presence and instead allows us to enjoy God's presence wherever we are and with whomever we are. If we are only concerned with soft lighting or loud music to conjure up worship for God, we have transformed worship into a performance. While technology and creativity have their uses and values, they are only tools. True worship is a heart connection with God, founded on the revelation of God's perfect love for us in Christ.

God's perfect love inspires thankfulness and joy in our hearts, which is evidence of true Christian living.
