Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for He has done marvellous things! His right hand and His holy arm have worked salvation for Him. The LORD has made known His salvation; He has revealed His righteousness in the sight of the nations.

Psalm 98:1-2, New Living Translation

Let's sing a new song as we enter into a new year.

Ask God to amaze you again and again with a fresh perspective of who He is and who you are meant to be in Him and where you are going with Him. Learn from the Psalmist to sing and declare His glory into your life and walk freely into all that God is preparing for you.

Don't worry over how this year will turn out.

Rest on God's precious promise that He will not leave or forsake you. No matter the circumstances and even despite them, you will see God's saving hands lovingly guiding and ushering you into open doors of blessings and favour. After all, God is sovereign and because He loves you—He will go beyond your expectations to bring His purpose to pass.

Sing a new song and proclaim 2022 a year where your friendship with God brings a new height of deeper love and richer intimacy. Grow in your knowledge of God through Scriptures and experience His presence and power in your daily walk with Him.

Pray new prayers and expect God to move in new ways. It will bring a growth spurt of faith and you will get to see the fruitlessness and barrenness of yesteryears giving way to an overwhelmingly fruitful season of suddenlies and impossibilities.

Though the circumstances may not change, through God's grace and love you have received a new strength and boldness to overcome every obstacle that stands in your way. What was once difficult now seems easy. What was once painful now seems hopeful. What was once fearful and threatening now seems promising and possible.

God knows what your tomorrow looks like because He is already there. There is nothing to be afraid of—nothing, now or ever. If we are to give in to our fears, it only means we have yet to open ourselves to God's love.

Instead of looking backward and feeling remorse or regret, move forward with God. Then you will start and end each day wrapped in God's love and find new songs rising from within to praise and bless Him.
