At the right time I, the Lord, will make it happen quickly.

Isaiah 60:22, God's Word Translation

Every promise of God involves a process.

What is required of you is for God to get you ready for what He has in store for you.

It is good to recognise that God's timing of fulfilling His Word is never chronos but kairos. In the Bible, "chronos" refers to chronological or sequential time and "kairos" refers to an opportune or favourable timing. In other words, God will act when the time is right and ripe for you to experience the fullness of what He has promised you.

When God gives you a promise, He will fulfil it and make it happen.

If you ever feel that God is taking too long, it is more likely that you are not ready for what God has for you. Bear in mind, God is never too early or too late. Once God has given His promise, He will keep it. Don't feel frustrated or forgotten if there are delays and detours or if things don't go perfectly or appear hopeless. God is not testing you, but God is training you what you need to learn and unlearn before He fulfils all He said He would.

Wait on God's timing.

When God is readying you to enjoy His promise, He will work to put you at the right place, at the right time and with the right people. When you rest in God's kairos timing of favour, you never need to worry whether you are either in the wrong place at the wrong time, or at the right place with the wrong people. This is because when God promises you something, He will take care of it.

You are never wasting time when you wait on God.

While it may seem nothing is happening, but as you trust God's timing and goodness, you are giving God an opportunity to transform and position you into a place where His promise becomes a reality.
