Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (TPT)

Every one of us has had those moments when everything seems impossible, and we just want to give up. The Apostle Paul told the Corinthians about how rejection, betrayal, and broken trust from those he thought would never hurt him afflicted him, but his confidence and trust in God remained unshaken.

A wounded heart is a distracted heart.

You may feel disconnected from everything because of your hurt, loss and grief. The good news is that, while what you're going through right now may not be pleasant, it won't stay forever. No matter how messed up things get, resist the urge to give up and instead stay the course.

Learn to let go of yesterday's defeat to celebrate today's victory. Even if you have no idea why awful things are happening to you, remember your better days are ahead of you.

Life will push back, which is why we must overcome despair and fear by walking in the truth that God will not forget us or forsake us. The suffering you endured could well be the best thing that has ever happened to you. If Paul had not been persecuted by his fellow Jews, he would not have had such a huge influence on the Gentiles. If his brothers hadn't sold him, Joseph would not have been able to save them. Ruth would not have met Boaz and become a direct ancestor of Jesus if she had not been willing to take leftovers from the field.

No experience is ever wasted when we put it in God’s hands.

Just keep worshipping God through your trials, tribulations, and tears. God knows where you are, even though you feel lost and abandoned. Believe in Him. and He will lead you out of the darkness into His wonderful light.
