Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (TPT)

Every one of us has had those moments when everything seems impossible and we want to give up. The Apostle Paul told the Corinthians about how rejection, betrayal, and broken trust from people he thought would never hurt him affected him, but his faith and trust in God remained unshaken.

A wounded heart is a distracted heart.

Because of your pain and grief, you may become discouraged and lose your desire to seek God. The good news is that, while what you're experiencing now may be uncomfortable, it won't last forever. Learn to let go of yesterday's defeat so you can enjoy today's victory. Even if you don't understand why bad things continue to happen to you, remember that better days are ahead of you.

Life will push back against us, which is why we must overcome discouragement and fear by walking in the knowledge that God will never leave or forsake us. The pain you went through may have been the best thing that ever happened to you. Paul would not have had the same impact on the Gentiles if he had not been persecuted by his fellow Jews. Joseph could not have saved his brothers unless they had sold him. Ruth would not have met Boaz and become Jesus' direct ancestor if she had not been willing to accept leftovers from the field.

No experience is ever wasted when we put it in God’s hands.

Just keep worshipping God despite your troubles, trials and tears. God knows exactly where you are even if you feel lost and abandoned. Trust Him to lead you through the dark night to the dawn of His glorious light.
