Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out.

2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (TPT)

Every single one of us has experienced those moments when everything feels so impossible that we want to give up. The Apostle Paul spoke to the Corinthians about how rejection, betrayal, and broken trust with those he thought would never hurt him affected him, yet his faith and trust in God remained unshaken.

A wounded heart is a distracted heart.

You may be feeling disconnected and don’t feel the passion to serve because of your hurt and grief. The good news is that even though what you're experiencing right now might not be comfortable, it won’t last forever. No matter how much you mess up, don't give in to the urge to give up; instead, stay the course.

Learn to let go of yesterday's defeat so that you can celebrate today's victory. Even if you have no answer as to why bad things continue to happen to you, remember your better days are ahead of you.

Life will push back at us, and this is why we need to overcome discouragement and fear by walking in the truth that God will not leave us or forsake us. The suffering you endured could well be the best thing that has ever happened to you. Paul would not have had such a significant influence on the Gentiles if he had not been persecuted by his fellow Jews. Joseph could not have saved his brothers if they hadn't sold him. Ruth would not have met Boaz and become a direct ancestor of Jesus if she had not been ready to accept leftovers from the field.

No experience is ever wasted when we put it in God’s hands.

Just keep worshipping God through your troubles, trials and tears. God knows exactly where you are even if you feel lost and abandoned. Trust Him. and He will guide you out of the dark night into the dawn of His glorious light.
