"I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me."

Galatians 2:20, New American Standard Bible

You are in Christ and Christ is in you.

When Christ incorporated you into His death, you were counted as dead with Him thereby removing sin's power over you and preventing it from dominating you again. When Christ included you in His resurrection, you were made alive as a new creation completely forgiven and reconciled to God.

There is no separation between you and Christ right now. This means that an authentic life of faith is both possible and real if you simply rest on the truth that Christ is completely sufficient to save you. When people believe they can fix their relationship with God on their own, they haven't fully grasped the fact that it doesn't need any more fixing because Jesus has done the perfect work. What they really need to do is be humble and thankful that God accepts and counts them righteous in Christ, regardless of what they did or did not do.

The Apostle Paul tells us that the life he now lives in the flesh is based on faith in God's Son. Faith in Christ frees him from relying on his own ability or strength, and faith in Christ gives him the desire and power to live his life to the fullest for Him.

When you look to Jesus as the source and supply of your faith, you will see that faith is rest because our Lord will always empower you to say and do incredible things in His Name. Consider Peter, who healed the lame man in the Temple, or Stephen, who preached the gospel to the Sanhedrin using the Old Testament, or Paul, who miraculously rose from the dead after being stoned in the city of Lystra.

With this new life in Christ, you will desire and discover more and more of His heart for you and His church, and you will then experience transformation and life-changing moments as you live freely and wholeheartedly to God's glory.
