God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in Him.

1 John 4:15 (MEV)

No one is truly content with their life until they realise that God loves them and has put His perfect love into them so that they can love Him and love others. Maybe that’s why there are so many sad and unhappy people in the world. Their bondage to sin and Satan’s traps keeps them from trusting God. They will continue to struggle and suffer until they hear and believe the good news of salvation and freedom in Jesus.

You don't have to go far to find people who need to hear that God loves them without fail. They could be your peers, colleagues, and people whom you meet every day. Learn to manifest the truth of God’s love in life-giving ways. Don't be preachy or pushy! Be visible, be approachable and be real. You don’t have to be perfect, just be faithful.

Think of the workplace as your mission field.

Even if the work culture is secular, you can still bring a spiritual presence to the workplace. Joseph, Daniel, and Esther, and ultimately Jesus, are our role models when it comes to integrity and good work ethics. Ask God to help you share your faith and use the gospel in your work.

Disciple-making begins with love. It is based on love and is characterized by loving acts. A practical way to do this is to deal with office politics or conflicts with principles that align with Jesus' teachings. Don’t give in to the temptation to conform or to deny the truth of the gospel. Although it may be difficult to always think and act in the right way, it's worth it in the end.

God always acts in love, so it's important that we do the same, even when things aren’t going our way. When we choose to follow the heart of God, we will be blessed with His grace and strength in circumstances that would otherwise be unbearable.
