But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

God’s salvation opens the way to a life in the Kingdom where we have been given authority and the ability to fulfil God’s will of reconciling the world to Himself in Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19). We are not only saved from sin — but we are also saved to enter God's Kingdom and expand it within our culture and personal interactions with others.

The Kingdom of God can be summarized as the awesome presence and power of God manifested in our daily lives. On a personal level, God’s Kingdom is in you, and you have everything you need in Christ through His Spirit to make known His Kingdom.

Many Christians are however too intimidated to share the gospel due to the fear of rejection, or not being sure how to bring up the gospel. Our problem is not one of inadequacy but of obedience. We allow our own thoughts and experiences to keep us from believing what God can do in us and through us. Jesus tells us not to be afraid or distracted by the news and noise of the world but to live a life that allows God's Kingdom to take root and fruit.

Jesus tells many parables about the kingdom of God. It would be advantageous for us to study and become acquainted with them so that we can influence and impact lives for the kingdom. When we focus on God's Kingdom and His glory, we can be confident that God will not only supply our needs but will also bless us abundantly for every good work.

The unseen realm of God’s Kingdom is more real than we can perceive with our natural senses.

Connect yourself with God and ask Him to reveal more and more the reality of His presence and power in your life. It is by cultivating a strong Kingdom vision that we can collaborate with God in His Kingdom mission. You have no less power or potential than the apostles of Jesus. You can do what they have done because of who you are and what you have in Christ.
