Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."

Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

Some Christians live in such anxiety that they are constantly worried.

Worrying is a bad habit that, if not curbed, can turn into a terrible addiction. We worry because we want to have control and feel safe, but the truth is that the control we believe we have is fleeting and won't last.

Jesus once asked a crucial question: Can worrying add anything to your life? Matthew 6:27. The truth is that worrying can harm our health and rob us from enjoying life. It can even drive a wedge between God and us, making it easier for us to blame God when problems and bad circumstances appear in our lives.

Worrying is a form of pride.

This is because you assuming you know more than God and are not resting fully on His promises and provisions. Start by adjusting your attitude towards God if you wish to be worry-free. Just trust that God understands what He's doing, because He has the power to make everything beautiful in your life.

Far too often, our fears and worries get in the way of our trust in God's sovereign grace and goodness.

Proverbs 3:5-6 makes it clear that we should not presume to know and control everything. A car, for example, cannot steer in the proper direction if two persons compete for control of the steering wheel. Similarly, if we are not on the same path as God, we will not enjoy our life with Him. Be humble and learn to know God in all we do, for God will honour us if we let Him lead us.
