You have chosen us to serve our God and formed us into a kingdom of priests who reign on the earth.

Revelation 5:10 The Passion Translation

You are to be intentional about living for the Kingdom of God.

When you were made a new creation in Christ through His righteousness, you also became a new citizen of the Kingdom of His righteousness. As such, if you want to think and act like a Kingdom citizen, you need to learn to function and operate confidently and comfortably in its culture, values and paradigm.

Whether you are in your office or campus or home, you are living in the realm of Christ's finished work and for that reason you have been given authority and power to reign and rule with Christ, in this present age and in the ages to come.

As kings and priests we are to represent God's Kingdom and manifest its reality everywhere we go. What a privilege and honour! When we choose to prioritize and put first God's Kingdom, everything we do becomes worship unto God. The promise is God will not only give to us what we need for, but He will also add other things to us (Matthew 6:33). Without an authentic friendship and relationship with God, what begins as a promise from God is often turned into a formula for the prosperity gospel. Therefore, learn to live righteously and you will experience God's grace in many wondrous ways.

When we pursue God as He pursues us, God will not withhold from us anything that contributes to our ability to overcome a culture of fear and worry. Lots of people are feeling stress and pressure from all directions in their pursuit of status symbols and a comfortable standard of living. This is why they remain unhappy and unfulfilled in spite of their achievements.

Jesus however tells us that God's economy is unlike our economy. The more we pursue God, the deeper we experience God's love and the grace of His blessing. The more God blesses us, the more God will increase our capacity to steward His gifts faithfully.

To be Kingdom minded is to become more and more like Jesus. When you are true to your identity and calling in God's Kingdom, you will have opportunities to influence and impact as many as possible for Him.
