But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

Matthew 6:33 (ESV)

God’s salvation opens the way to a life in the Kingdom where we have been given authority and the ability to fulfil God’s will of reconciling the world to Himself in Christ (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Corinthians 5:18-19). Not only are we saved from sin, but we are saved to enter God’s kingdom and extend it into our culture and our personal relationships with others.

The Kingdom of God is the amazing presence and power of the Lord in our everyday lives. On a deeper level, the Kingdom of God is within us, and we have all we need in Christ through the power of His Spirit to make known His Kingdom.

Yet many Christians are afraid to share the good news because they are afraid of rejection, or because they don't know how to share it. Our problem is obedience, not inadequacy. We allow our thoughts and experiences to prevent us from trusting what God can do within and through us. Jesus tells us not to be afraid or distracted by the news and noise of the world but to live a life that allows God's Kingdom to take root and bear fruit.

Jesus tells many parables about the kingdom of God. We should take the time to learn and become familiar with them to make a difference in the lives of others. By focusing on the Kingdom of God and its glory, we can be confident that God will not only provide us with what we need, but that He will also provide us with abundant blessings for any good work we do.

The unseen realm of God’s Kingdom is more real than we can perceive with our natural senses.

Connect yourself with God and ask Him to reveal more and more the reality of His presence and power in your life. Only by developing a strong Kingdom vision can we work together with God in His mission for the Kingdom. You have the same power and potential as the apostles of Jesus, and you can do what they did because of who and what you are in Christ.
