Grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

2 Peter 3:18, New King James Version

Your life can take on a whole new meaning once you are made into a new creation.

The more you grow in your knowledge of Christ, the more you enjoy the grace of God working in and through you. Your life will result in healing and breakthroughs because God’s grace is more than enough to free you from the negative effects of your pain, failure and brokenness. Then you will experience breakthroughs and healing because you are no longer bound to your past and the words that were spoken over you. This is one of the benefits of receiving the revelation of who you are and what you have in Christ.

When we fail to recognise our true worth in God's eyes, we actually hinder our spiritual growth. That was what happened to Peter when he was pretty shaken up after he denied Christ three times. Jesus sought him and sorted him out to restore him fully.

To grow in grace and power for daily life, you need to expand your understanding of your life in Christ. There is no shortcut to spiritual growth and maturity other than staying connected to Christ through His Scripture and His Spirit.

It is crucial to keep on growing in Christ if you want to reach your full potential for Christ. Learn to build your identity in Christ instead of your accomplishments and successes. What you can achieve for yourself is fleeting but what God can achieve in you and through you is forever. You will never feel unfulfilled or restless when you pursue a life of fruitfulness and fulfillment.

Spiritual growth is a communal thing.

We grow best in community with other believers. Even in this time of COVID and social distancing, we must make every effort to stay connected and continue to help others to grow in their knowledge and love of God. Then we will enjoy together the wonderful things God is in the lives of everyone.
