20 Now to [God] who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.

God is the God of all possibilities in the midst of impossibilities.

The Apostle Paul says that God can do much more than even your best thoughts can possibly imagine. All that God can do through you is already inside you. This is because Christ is living in you right now through His Holy Spirit. You don't need some supernatural manifestations coming to you from the outside—because God in Christ is already working inside you to do the works of Christ and even greater works.

In cooperating with His Spirit, you are always in step with whatever the Lord is doing. This is why the early church could demonstrate the same power that Jesus had because they obeyed and trusted Him for everything.

You don't have to be somebody special for God to empower you or use you in special ways. By depending on His power and provisions, God can accomplish so much through His Spirit's power working in you, rather than by your human effort or strength. You will never live another day of feeling defeated when you learn to depend on God completely for your daily needs.

Instead of praying for more power or more strength, pray that you can comprehend fully what God has already made available to you in Christ. If you often pray for more something from God, then you must ask whether you believe God for who He is or believe God for the things He gives. This is not to say you cannot ask from God, but if you are preoccupied with getting things from God instead of knowing God Himself, then your relationship with Him is a transaction and not a connection where deep speaks unto deep.

You can learn from Paul by praying to receive the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of God (Ephesians 1:17). The good thing is, God is eager to give wisdom to those who ask. Once you know the Father and His unfailing love towards you, it does not take much faith or power to do great things.
