See what great love the Father has for us that He would call us His children. And that is what we are. For this reason the people of the world do not know who we are because they did not know Him.
1 John 3:1 (NLT)
God always acts in love and from a loving heart towards us.
God created you in His image with such perfect love that sin cannot diminish your incredible worth and value in His eyes. God does not love you for who you want to be or what you can do for Him. God loves you because of who He is and what He has done on the cross.
God is love.
If that is true, then all our knowledge and experiences of Him should leave us in awe and wonder. Worship, then, is no longer bound by a specific day, place, or time, and is probably less so than a half-hearted offering. And because God is everywhere, we can cultivate such a conscious awareness of His presence with us that our worship becomes incredibly personal and powerful.
Worship makes the reality of loving and being loved by God real to us. It not only deepens our relationship with God, but it also empowers us to pursue His will on earth as it is in heaven. Though the rest of the world does not know or believe in God, we know who He is and how much He loves us. God's love fuels our obedience and frees our hands and feet to serve in His kingdom so that the rest of the world can believe (John 17:21). We are able to love others because God first loved us. The world will recognise us by our love for one another because it knows we belong to God and are created by God.
Nothing can stand in the way of you accepting and receiving God's love.
Jesus serves as the connecting point. He brings us into the holy community of the Trinity by becoming one with us in our humanity, where the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit work together as one to transform us into everything God desired and designed us to be in Christ.
As we continue to grow in our relationship with the Trinity, we shall mirror and echo the abundant Triune love in all of our relationships, whether friends or foes.
