Growth involves change, and often we resist change because we are used to life staying pretty much the same. For many of us, we may find it difficult to shift from our own comfort zone and familiar ways to a new season filled with uncertainty and apprehensions. However, when we are willing to be vulnerable and learn to let go of our unhealthy self control, we experience a supernatural freedom that far surpasses our worries and fears.

New seasons are stressful because we are going into the unknown and the experience can be at times uncomfortable and unfamiliar. Yet, new seasons are critical and even life-changing because they introduce a new perspective of God, into our relationship with Him. And which one of us wouldn't want a new season that leads us into a fresh experience of God's love, presence and power in our lives?

In the Bible, Mary was obviously troubled by the incredibly startling news announced to her by the Angel Gabriel. She questioned the mechanics of how God would bring His word to pass, but the Angel assured her with these words:

For with God nothing will be impossible.

Luke 1:37

Consider the Amplified Version of the same verse:

For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfilment.

God is never superfluous with His words. His words have never gone unfulfilled, but they will produce the desired results wherever they go. When you are willing to trust God with His words, you will thrive according to His words.

Every word that flows out of His mouth possesses the power to create something new and amazing. When you give God's Word first place in your heart, He will bring you to new depths in your faith and new heights in your relationship with Him.

Instead of going into the future with dreaded anticipation, go with the reassuring thought that God has already figured it out for you. All you need to do is believe in the goodness of His character and the integrity of His Word.
