When you enter a town and are welcomed, eat what is offered to you. Heal the sick who are there and tell them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

Luke 10:8-9 (NIV)

Sin is a sickness that has to be cured, not a crime to be punished. This explains why Jesus instructed His disciples to heal the sick, treat diseases, and cast out demons wherever they go while preaching the gospel of the Kingdom.

Telling others about Jesus is only one aspect of the gospel's proclamation. It entails displaying to others the kindness and love of God through acts of service.

Actively develop friendships and connections with others around you. Keep in mind that you are not doing it in order to eventually share the gospel with them. Instead, you actually care for and love them. Ask God for open doors and open hearts. Pray for everyone you know who is unwell or facing difficulties. Attend to their needs while praying for God to bless them. Miracles can occur or not, but God will honour your obedience and faithfulness and make everything work out for your good and for His glory (Romans 8:28).

Research says that most believers lose contact with their outside friends within a few years of becoming Christians. If we spend most of our time with our church friends and barely interact with those outside the church, how are we supposed to be the light and salt of the world?

Making disciples is integral to our spiritual growth and maturity.

We cannot advance the gospel if we are not moving forward in faith. It's acceptable to feel fear when we express our faith. However, if we allow God to take care of our fear, we will grow bolder in our faith in Him and continue to change lives, one at a time. Ask God to show you how to show love to the people you work with or encounter on a daily basis. Be God's love to them and watch as they transform right before your eyes.
