To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.

Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NKJV)

God is always eager to do new things in your life, but you must be willing to adjust, change, and heed His Spirit's prompting.

Some people, I believe, will always be afraid of change. They are having difficulty adjusting to God's predetermined season for their lives because they have spent too much time in their comfort zone and have lost both motivation and momentum to move in a new direction.

Do not be afraid of change. Do not be like the children of Israel, who unwisely chose to remain in the wrong side of Jordan than moving with God into Canaan. As a result, many of them perished in the wilderness and never reached the Promised Land. Do not ever settle for less than what God has promised you. Do not waste your life resisting God; instead, embrace everything He wants to fulfill in and through you.

When the seasons change, align yourself with God, for He has the power to make everything beautiful in His time. Many of us have received prophetic words about what God has purposed for our lives. If we desire to see His word come true, we must submit to whatever God needs to do to prepare us. Remember that everything God accomplishes is perfectly timed. He may move mysteriously, but never haphazardly.

As the new year approaches, keep in mind that God may have just sent you on a new adventure. Rather than being afraid, simply say yes to trusting Him for what is ahead. Bear in mind, a new season brings new favour. God will enable you to have fresh breakthroughs, receive new blessings, and impact more lives for His kingdom as you grow in your relationship with Him.
