God's kingdom isn't just a lot of words. It is power.

1 Corinthians 4:20 (CEV)

When Jesus commanded His disciples to go and proclaim the gospel of the Kingdom, He gave them both authority and power to accomplish acts in His name. Similarly, we have the same mandate to reach others for Him by announcing and displaying His Kingdom.

The gospel of the Kingdom, according to the Apostle Paul, is not only words but also deeds. It seeks out every chance to spread the gospel in every sphere of influence. Unfortunately, many Christians do not think the Holy Spirit is active in them and working through them to be witnesses of the gospel. That is why they are unable to trust God to use them in ways they never imagined.

If we want to see a positive and spiritual transformative impact upon our community or city, we must overcome the constraints we place on ourselves and God. It starts with maturing our minds and our faith in God. It is you who must believe with God that all things are possible with Him—and then allow Him to perform them through you. If you are willing to take the step of obedience, you may be surprised by what God can do and is doing.

Words might make you sound smart, but deeds have far-reaching consequences when done with love and generosity. Learn to sincerely serve those around us, regardless of how they respond to the gospel and God's grace. Build meaningful friendships with people who do not share our faith. Don't be afraid to be real about your problems and troubles. Instead, use the opportunity to share how difficult times are touchpoints for God to heal and restore you. When feasible, ask if you might pray for them, and follow up with them as needed. Many people (including pre-believers) will feel encouraged by your prayers and care.

Continuously partner with God and see His hands at work in our lives and the lives of those around us.
