11 But if the Spirit of Him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who dwells in you.
Do you believe the very power that raised Jesus from the dead is the same power that is working in you right now?
Just as God has the power to release Christ from the bonds of death, God has the power to transform your attitudes and responses to His purpose for your life. Yet many believers never experience consistent change or growth because they don’t long for it. It is the fear of how God will change them that keeps them away from God. They want God to take them as they are, but also to keep them as they are. Those who resist change have not completely obeyed the gospel.
Jesus calls us to believe and repent. To believe and repent involve changing the way we think about God, about ourselves, and about the relationship between God and us. Our willingness to believe in Jesus is what empowers us to change.
You may ask, “Why is change important?”
By belonging to Christ makes you complete in Christ. To be complete in Christ is to be like Christ. However, we all have “gaps” for Christ to fill us with His presence until we possess His fullness in every area of our lives.
God really desires for us to experience our completeness in Christ.
Surrender yourself and receive from God His power to change.
