Are you living the life you believe in, or are you settling for less?
Jesus understood the value of His life was never about Himself but was always about us.
45 For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many
10 The value of your life is inextricably linked to His. Jesus did not die to make your life more comfortable. He died for you to live a worthy life for Him
What is a worthy life?
The Greek word for “worthy” is axios which means “balancing the scales”. That is, to keep one side of the scales equal in weight to the other side. It’s about living in a manner that is in keeping with what Christ had done for you.
The Apostle Paul tells us:
20 For you were bought at a price; therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s
1 Corinthians 6:20
A worthy life seeks to honour God in all things at all times. We see Jesus living a worthy life. He lived and died, and lives again for His Father’s glory. How about you?
Again, Paul tells us:
31 Therefore, whether you eat or drink, or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God
1 Corinthians 10:31
A worthy life is a calling and an attitude, a desire and a decision, the will of the heart and a way of life. Take hold of this abundant life which Christ has given you and live well.
